blackbeauty, unless you have a tune which requires cooler plugs, they will do nothing for you.
If you can return the Bosch Iridium plugs, I recommend you do so and get good ol' plain-jane Motorcraft copper pugs...a LOT cheaper and work just as well. It's been pretty well determined that iridium plugs do little or nothing to be worth the extra money.

Really going to colder plugs wouldn't matter without a colder thermostat and possibly a tune.
I'm replacing the Denso Iridium plugs I have in w/the car the NGK TR-6 plugs but I also have a 180° T-stat. I would go with either stock or a quality equivalent plug. I like NGKs or Motorcraft plugs usually.

But the Lidio tune has to be programmed for the colder plugs / stat.

:eek::eek: oh! not expecting that.
would it hurt it?
im about 100miles from reinhart automotive but i was waiting on installing other parts to get a dyno tune.

i see no reason why a new tune would be needed
I'm changing mines this weekend. I have 4:10's and a Zack tune should I use NGK tr6 or stick with motorcraft? I was thinking sp 505, but I don't have a 180 stat.
what would you recomend?
which ones are the colder ones?
Motorcraft SP-505 are one step colder plugs.

If he doesn't get a new tune to compensate for the colder plugs & stat then he's not gaining anything.
Colder plugs & stat allow for a bit more timing.
More timing = more power.

I have a Zack tune and run TR6IX plugs which are gapped around .036. Some say it's silly to have S/C gapping plugs on a NA car but my runs prove otherwise lol.

TR55 is the stock gap for our car, TR6 is one stage colder which if you have a tune you want. I went with the TR6IX Iridium plugs because I got them dirt cheap. At least I know with Zack's tune that I have I have slightly more timing adjustment that other cars he has tuned, smaller gap means more spark firing.
I had the TR6IX plugs and GMS coil connectors installed on a DR tune, my best 1/4 time was 14.25 all day long. After Zack's tune in warmer weather I pulled off a 14.19. I'm not saying spark plugs made the difference but I noticed better power through the rpm band, smoother idle and increased gas mileage on the DR tune and of course better all around on Zack's tune.
I will continue to use the TR6IX plugs because so far with 70k+ miles on them they have been flawless so why fix something when it's not broken. Def. get one stage colder Motorcraft or NGK plugs, it's more of a insurance thing since if you drive aggressively or go WOT a lot the tune will make adjustments and want to add more timing which you will need plugs that can keep up with the demands.
I also recommend getting the GMS coil plug connectors when you change the plugs. They are like plug wires but so much better than stock ones.
