Why is there green coolant in the bottle? Shouldn't it be gold?

Why is there green coolant in the bottle? Shouldn't it be gold?

Up until sometime in august of 02 the coolant was green then mercury switched over to gold.

Mine is a 7-02. My coolant is gold. :confused:
