A buddy of mine took a great shot of the Cobra I sold last year and I wanted one like that of my Marauder. The Cobra came out better but I like this one too. Mainly I was trying to get the whole car in the shot from badge less grill to widened rears/spoiler/exhaust tip. Not an easy task but it came out well IMO.

OK, I can't stand the damn license plate either but have yet to get my custom no-drill plate holder and fill the holes and have the bumper re-shot. IF I get my annual bonus OR a raise in 2010 I will do the aforementioned work...you just had to point that out eh.
Like ctrlraven said, it's a PS job that gets easier after you've done a few.
Here's the Cobra in case I never posted it here, we should get one like this of the MM so you can more clearly see the blower. Man, I realllly miss my vert.

Working my way to the obligatory "spoiler-shot" to show off the fat meats out back and that sexy rear! We should have had the iniglo type gauges the Cobra's got.

Some of my friends do the clear hood shot at night with a remote control camera on a long exposure setting , pics look so amazing you would swear up and down it was high noon but really it's middle of the night. PS can be a great tool in the hands of someone who knows how to use it correctly.

OK, last one.... funny story, my 11 year old daughter ALWAYS insists on rolling to the photo shoots. She's on the brake, crouched slightly in the driver seat :)

Ding, ding, ding, that's exactly right. We only use long exposure in low light on the tripod. The Cobra shots above, notice it was almost dark (see the light on the fire lane in the gauge shot).
The color is amazing with extended exposure in low light, dusk situations.

I could take the pictures but I don't mess with Photoshop. I'm sure I could find someone to edit the pictures and have it done though.

Seems to me that I would need to wash and polish the car before I could get this done.......
Might be worth the effort.

I like the vert better as a weekender. My MM is a daily that is far more comfortable than the 6spd vert was. I would really like a 2004 Oxford White Cobra coupe in phenomenal show condition, whippled to the tune of about 600 RWHP as a weekender.
I have three kids and a wife, roll the whole gang to a car show, have some dinner and great conversation with the car guys, leave with first place out of a dozen very nice MM's, I'm happy with that.

Use photoshop
1. Magic Wand the entire hood
2. Copy the hood
3. Remove/Delete it
4. Make a new layer Paste or "Place" the hood on that layer and turn the opacity down
Walla Easy
Hopefully the engine will show through :) if not magic wand and paste are your best friend in Ps ;)
