1 BAD 03 MM

I was looking at installing 4.30 gears. I read the article about critical speed on the driveshaft. I don't do alot of 70mph+ driving, but will be taking it to the track occasionally. (OK alot). Im curious if this will be an issue with the stock driveshaft. Which BTW is it Aluminum, or Steel. It looks aluminum to me.

I would want to do this B4 buying the chip from you. So any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I would use the MMDS, and I would upgrade the transmission call me any time

My shaft rattled the tailshaft seal out at 125mph but I still beat that Mustang GT (That was back whan I had the chip and gears only) I quickly upgraded to the MMDS Shaft.
And my transmission was broke long before I put the supercharger on. The only problem was, the car was still driveable!!

What is the deal with the transmissions anyway? I keep reading about bad parts from the factory. I haven't had any problems except I have noticed a weird RPM thing in th 2-3 shift, also at low speed it kinda lurches after the shift from 1-2.

I thought this was typical of a higher stall convertor. I thought the 4R70W was a stout trans. What exactly is a MMDS Driveshaft? Sorry for the ignorance, just got my Marauder in July, wife drove it to guess.......Florida, and back. (Too bad I didn't know about ya then Dennis, I would've had her keep goin' all the way toOrange Park for some upgrades. Now I gotta wait.

Thanks
