Hey , just wondering if anyone here has any experience with a return style system on the mm? I am putting a Magnafuel system on and would appreciate input from anyone willing. I have fear the gear pump MP-4701 is going to be loud.
Why would you put one on? Are you trying to make 800rwp or something?

No, i am shooting for around 600RW. I have a single GT pump in it now (thanks for the really goo install thread) and a KB BMP but was still running out of fuel on the dyno. Talking with the folks at Injected Engineering and Pauls High Performance who both had experience at doing a twin GT set up, they both recommended that the return style was in this case , in part due to the MM fuel hat modifications required would be the way to go. Pauls High Performance had done a twin GT fuel hat conversion which I think can still be bought out there somewhere, but if I remember correctly it was nearly a grand. Anyhows, I got what I got, and just hope it works out. I'll let you know soon.

Like juno said, unless you're planning on making over 800rwhp, you're probably going to be wasting money on a return system.
I'm running returnless dual GT pumps with -8 line from tank to fuel rail and I have zero fuel delivery problem with the Whipple 3.4 making 20lbs of boost.
One of the problem with factory fuel line on the MM is the 3/16" restrictor on the fuel connector at the rail. -8 line is 3/8" ID. When you double the diameter of a circle, the area is quadrupled.

Yeah...I might have to rely on my new found "friend".
You would be too if you lived in Cali! I noticed for the Ford Racing Whipple SC they include a sticker with it just say maybe...LOL
