I'm looking for an after market part, for a cold air intake system I'm making, I saw it on a web site, and thought I book marked it, but now can't find it. The rubber connector between the throttle body, and the intake tube, it was listed for $13.

Maybe not the same place you saw it, but turbohoses.com has about everything along those lines.

So does Spectre that is specifically made for the 4.6L oval throttle body P/N 9791. I used one on my first MM for the home made CAI I made. It was the exact dimensions of the throttle body down to 4".

Held up okay but was a little thinner than what I wanted. If you can find one for $13 go for it as I think this one was a little more expensive. It was about $20± if I remember right.

That's it, did you build yours out of all spectre parts?

Ya I bought all the pipe pieces and couplers from Jegs and Summit. I built the box myself out of some thin ABS, then redid it with some 1/8" or 3/16" ABS. I used Edge grip seal I got from McMaster Car to seal out the heat. IAT would stay around 3-5° over ambient temp when driving and then increase about 10-15° when at a light for a long time. Never got over 115° of all the times I logged with my Predator. It was all left in the old car because I could not open the hood after the accident.

$13 is good. I got my Spectre 9791 from Checker online for $24.99
