Hello everyone I am new to this site, which is very cool I must say. I have a question hopefully someone can help me with. My 03 Marauder motor started to shake at between 30 and 40 mph. engine light came on and I put a diagnostis comp on it and told me misfire on 6. I went to buy spark plugs to change and discovered while changing that the rings under valve cover were all rotted and split which was allowing oil to get in the spark plugs. I have taken everything off of the passenger side except for fuel line that goes to injectors. Is there a trick to getting the passenger side covers off? also is the fuel line thats above valve cover a quick disconnect or something? Please help any info would be helpfull.
Thanks all

You need a fuel rail disconnect tool to separate fuel lines. As for an tricks to remove them contact member Blackened300A, he has removed the factory covers recently and should be able to help you out.

Head over to your local parts store and pick up a universal fuel line removal tool. They are only like $5 and work great.
Then take some time out and read my install thread. I posted some of the tricks and tips that will make your life easier with the removal.
Im just letting you know that the passenger side is the biggest PITA to remove and replace so I hope you have some patience and some spare time.

Thanks for the info. I went out and bought a metal 3/8 fuel line disconnector. Dont know if I am using correctly or not. I can pull the rubber hose that covers fuel line and I see the fuel line. Do I have to push in the 1 inch round circle that the fuel ine goes into there is a little movement forward at the same time? Any info would help

Paul, we should have timed the cams while the cover was off, see how off the factory assembly was.

Do you know how to do that? I sure as hell don't and since its running fine, I didn't want to mess with it.
Plus that was the day I went it alone and everyone's phones seemed to stopped working.
