I bought my '04 MM in June w/ 17K miles on it...now has 20K. Since I've had it, I've noticed a slight hesitation when coasting. The RPMs aren't jumping all over the place , but there is a slight but noticable "lurch". Even passengers can feel it. Is this unusual? Is it related to back pressure? :depress:
Thanks for your input.

O2 sensor?
I thought about O2 sensor, but it hesitates when coasting > 50 MPH. Also no CEL. Could the sensor be bad without tripping the CEL?
Car is only lightly modded. DR tune and CAI. Car was hesitating before the mods though.
Thanks

Bas o2 will always trip a CEL. I have a bad feeling it might be the transmission.

I was going to say maybe the transmission hunting in between gears, but the tune should have cured that.
