Does any body know where I could purchase a bug screen for to put on my MM for highway trips. I've seen sever older folks have them on the front of Grand Marquis'. Basically what I'm talking about is a screen that stretches across the front of the car. I hate cleaning off bugs after an 8 hour ride at night. I've tried my local auto part stores and nobody knows what I'm talking about. I know they look god awful, but if it protects my car......
Thank you.

you dont drive a silverado 1500... get a bra or a clear bra if your worried about it....
bug shields dont do that much anyways, they protect a small portion of the front of your hood. We had one on the 03 yukon and it sent 6 rocks into the window.

My front bumper is usually caked with bugs with poor reflexes :/ I always thought about http://www.invisiblemask.com/ but I'm not sure how it would work in conjunction with wax and whatnot..

He's looking for the bra they made. I think the Marauder specific one is out of production but you can still get a MGM bra from the parts guy at the Mercury dearlership or contact Ray aka The Dearler on this site.

Spray some "PAM" on the front of your car before a "Bug Trip" and they will wipe right off!!
A friend with a travel trailer told me about it and it works quite well!!:D

Paint and oil don't really work that well together.
I was up in your neck of the woods on Friday. I had to cross the border to go to Navy Fed in Beaufort.

Try it on your bumper with your good ole "LOVE BUGS" and see what happens....I don't get your point here??:shake:
It will not hurt the paint!!:shake:

I'm sure it works, I'm just referring to long term damage to your paint. Pam is an OIL, so it will eventually damage your paint.

^^^^^ you can also spray the lower portion of the rear bumper before burn-outs, and the sticky rubber just wipes off. I don't think organic vegetable oil is harmful to paint.
