I am thinking of upgrading to 20's. That being said, will this offset work?

Number of Bolts: 5
Rim Material: Alloy
Bolt Pattern: 5 x 4.50 or 5 x 114.3
Rim Structure: One Piece
Rim Diameter (inches): 20
Offset: 38
Size: 20 x 8.5

a 4 lug won't fit...unless you make major mods....period

The original post has been corrected.

They are 5 lug...I am more concerned with the +38 offset. I know +50 is the original offset, but isnt that for 18's?

Offset is not affected by rim diameter...it only has to do with rim width;

It is the relationship between the mounting surface of the rim and the centerline of the rim.

This calculator will let you see how far in/out your proposed rims will sit.

http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp

Your 20 x 8.5" +38mm offset rims will give you 1/4" (6mm) more clearance on the inside and stick out 3/4" (18mm) more on the outside.

So if they will stick out 3/4", should I avoid these wheels and look for another configuration? I would like it to sit flus as does my stock wheels.

Here is an even better calculator;
You can play with rim sizes/offsets and tire sizes.

Your current choice will definitely stick out further than the OEM rims.

Some members have rim/tire combos that stick out further than stock....I don't know how far you can go before it starts to look like a Ricer/redneck car.....:dunno:
I guess that is your own opinion.

Marauder offset is +50 , but the rim is 8" wide

the rim posted by OP will only stick out 12mm more than stock (less than 1/2") since it is an 8.5" wide wheel and the offset is 38, compared to 8" wide stock with 50 offset. So that's really not much at all

I'm getting .22" more clearance on the inside;
OEM 8"x18" +50mm = 6.47" backspacing
...8.5"x18" +38mm = 6.25" backspacing

So the new 8.5" rim sits .22" further out and it is .50" wider.

It sticks .722" (18mm) further out than the OEM rims.

Well this sux! I really wanted these wheels. Well, back to the drawing board I guess...

Anyone have a MM with a similar offset, so I can see how much they stick out?

Because he doesn't. They actually are very similar to the stock wheels...just larger.

Two of them were damaged during Hurricane Ike. If I can get some new factories or something that will fit correctly, I will PM you (if you are still interested).

Wrong. Our stock offset is +50.

The back will take the additional offset and width witht he right tire. The front won't. Consider split sizes.

18x7.5 +45 front. 20x10 +65 (custom built) rear.

Unfortunately, the 20 x 8.5 at +38 is my only option for the wheel design I am looking at. Thanks for the suggestion though!
