While my Marauder was in for its 100,000 servive, the dealer discovered thaty my reverse lights are not working. The dealer thinks it is a short and wants to remove the back seats to find it.
Has anybody had this problem?
P.S. I received a new passenger side mirror. One of the dealers employees broke it. Atleast they owned up to their breakage.

If there was a short, you would blow fuse 2.16, which would also take out all of the following: Shift lock, DRL module (if equipped), VAP Steering, Electronic day/night mirror, Overhead console, Air suspension, and Climate control.
If you want to pay the dealer their ludicrous hourly rate to fiddle about looking for "shorts", then go for it, but you can prolly find the problem yourself fairly easily with a simple VOM.
Just for the sake of asking, did they try a new bulb?

Check the bulbs first. We had two licence plate bulbs go with in days of each other. I'd start here then like RF says check fuses and the like b4 you pay out through the nose for exploratory dealer services.

Yes, they tried new bulbs. The fuse is not blown. All other items listed all work. However, the reverse lights will not come on.
What is VOM?

VOM = Volt/Ohm meter used to read voltages ... and those things listed that go bad are the SAME problems with RoadPig One listed in my "GEM" thread .... Hmmmmmmm .....
