Auto on/off?

Just noticed that even though my temperature control unit was off, air was still coming through the defrost and floor. How can this be??? Also, the air was at the temperature setting when it was last turned off. I am sure this is related to a bad EATC (Or O-rings from what I read), but isn't the OFF button there to turn it OFF???:dunno:

my pickup that has electronic control is doing this too - i have been advised that one of the servo actuated dampers that controls where air is sourced from, is not working. Not sure what would cause this on a marauder.

Same thing a bad blend door, or bad actuator damper doohicky like you said. LOL.

Mines been doing it for little over 2 yrs now. I replaced the AC check valve and O-rings in the ETAC and regained full Vent control but FLOOR, FLOOR/DEFROST, DEFROST, and the A/C buttons all put air out through the Floor and Defrost vents. The most annoying thing is my windshield fogs up a million times more.
