Just wanted to drop A line and say that I love them. Had a couple of small issues but todd helped out above and beyond, thanks. Car stops on a dime. If your going to get them go all out and get the full kit front and rear. Before you bleed them make sure that all the screw in plugs on the calipers are tight I didnt and had a small leak till I did. I let my dad drive it the other day and the first stop he said god damn! Thanks again. If anyone needs help let me know as I was a little lost at first till I actually dug in and did it.:burnout:

What is the best & most reliable brake kit? I hear so much about Bembro...

I'd love to put on the big brake kit. Those Wilwoods look sweet. The stocks just seem so puny by comparison. I need to go knock over a few liquor stores, so I'll be back in a while...

I don't think brembo makes a kit for our cars.

Maybe....but I doubt it. For the most part the dimensions may be close but I think you'd have some issues of sorts some way or another.

So for front and rear Willwood's you're lookin at over $3,000?

Is that right?

Yes.

I got just the front kit.

I'm getting a set of rear calipers powder coated the same red and have aftermarket rotors that are slotted just like the fronts. A set of stainless steel braided hoses, ceramic pads, and all new parking brake hardware will complete the setup.

Wow...thats gettin' close to supercharger territory there. For brakes!

Thanks for the info. Fronts only sound fine to me.

As such kits go on many cars 3k for four wheels is quite reasonable actually... not that it's cheap I know.

Thanks for the reply Todd. I wasn't flaming or anything, it was just a surprise, thats all. I have not looked into the mod until now, so I was unfamiliar with the pricing.

They sure are pretty though!

I'll give all 4 wheels a big thumbs up. Pricey... yep, stops on a dime with 8 cents change, sooner or later, with all that change, you'll get most of that 3K back....

Didn't take it that way at all. Just making the point that such kits are not inexpensive and these are well within the norm. No more/no less.

Maybe it's the picture but in post #13 it looks like the stud holes on the rotor hat are the wrong size like to large.

Supplied 1/16" wheel spacer.
Centers on the hub and will work on a number of kits.

I love the rear kit. Big difference.

Todd TCE

Nice thing about the rear is that you can alter pad choices pretty easily and move more rear brake into the car. From BP10 to 20s to semi-metallics like D, E, and others for track day use.
