LOL how do you crash through that many cars because you feel like you need to pull over to toss your cookies? That is pretty intense. Although I had to drive 100 mph to avoid sharting myself once and that probably could have ended badly too.

It was in my TL type S, not the Marauder, you were safe. The TL was the better car to be driving at 100 mph anyway

The Panther is basically a pickup truck with a car body on top of the frame instead of a truck body. This is exactly why they make better service vehicles like patrol cars.

I got "T" boned in my 2000 Grand Marquis by a Suburban (that's the reason for the Marauder but another story) and my 6'6" son was in the passenger seat...his side got hit. We both walked away with some minor cuts and bruises but other than that, nothing. Will scan photos and post them ASAP.

What a ugly dumb twat. She killed 5 cars and a Rv because she could not hold in some vomit. What will she do when she is in labor? Burn down the River Rouge plant?

Way to ruin 5 cars that will probably not be around for much longer, hopefully they checked for drug traces..

She didn't deserve that GM... Should have been driving a POS Kia, so there'd be one less idiot and one less tin can on the road.

I would sooner think she is an unknowing diabetic, or has an ailment that comes on real fast, and there is no time to stop before passing out.

Exactly. My grandmother is diabetic, and didn't know it until a similar incident. She was driving down the road when she blacked out without any more warning than "I think I'm going to be sick" crossing her mind... When she woke up, she had drifted off the road, and ended up in someones bushes... No real damage to the car or property, but a huge wake-up call.

Glad the panthers were in the back!

Nope...bought the Marauder about a week later. Went to buy a new Grand Marquis but they didn't have what I wanted so the salesman said "why don't you take her for a spin" and I said "I don't need a hot rod at my age"...welllllll about an hour later I was signing papers.

Here are the pictures of my '92 GM after a 70,000lb semi hit it (and subsequently me) at ~40mph.

I fell asleep at the wheel driving a 1971 Barracuda. 383 Magnum with less than 2k on a rebuilt engine! When I fell asleep, I guess I hit the gas pedal. I woke up to screeching and crunching as I was sliding down the side of a car going the opposite way around a sharp corner to the right, tried to hit the brakes, too late, when into a guard rail protecting a house in that corner. Moved it off it's foundation. They sai I was doing about 85 on contact with the guardrail and house. I folded the steerin wheel with my chest and literally pulled my head back in through the windshield. Oh yeah... It was my younger brother's car... DOH!

JEEZ!!!
Couldn't Amanda Knievel at least let off the gas pedal or maybe try for the brake pedal as she felt the urge to power chum???
Heck, back in my college days I blew grits out the driver's window while coming around an exit ramp at 40 mph!....:puke:
I didn't even hit the curb!
Don't ask about the 'residue' on the side of the car the next morning....:shake:

Wow, you know it was a bad hit when the car's ram memory sticks appear on the floor.
I feel even safer in my car now. The best built car in modern times. I crashed my 95 P71 into a 02 Acura TL and did $4500 worth of damage to it as we crashed head on. All the Vic needed was a left marker lamp and repaint the front bumper cover, LOL. The Acura had to be towed. She was pissed that she didn't have a stronger car. Turns out her Accord got totaled when a stolen 95 Caprice t-boned her. She said "I need to get one of these".

lol... I do computer work for people, and those RAM sticks were old and outdated, I was going to use them as keychains (silicone is ridiculously strong)
The thing that sucks is all of my repair/diagnostic equipment was in the car... a customer's laptop was in the back seat in MY laptop bag (I had finished work, and was going to drop it off the afternoon of my accident), and I had just gotten all of the parts in to build another customer's computer, they were in boxes in the trunk... When the semi hit me, he blew up the gallon jugs of oil and coolant, and it got EVERYWHERE. What wasn't destroyed from the impact got soaked to the core with toxic liquids... The car was worth $1300, the stuff in the car was worth well over $5,000

Dang! Who paid for all that equipment?

Dang! Who paid for all that equipment?
The laptops (mine and the customer's) were about $1500, the parts for the computer that were in the trunk were about $800, I had a $300 CD player, a $1300 diagnostics kit for computers, about $400 in tools, a dash-mounted GPS unit that cost about $150, an AC inverter... etc...

So you're saying you had to pull the coin out for all of this?? No insurance or anything huh?
Benwin
09-21-2009, 08:27 PM
Nah, the accident was the truck driver's fault. His insurance company has (yet) to pay me for the damages... But they're playing a game of 'hurry up and wait'... God forbid YOU owe THEM money, right? They're on your ass like white on rice... But when THEY owe YOU money... "we'll get around to it"
Then they get to pay medical bills and Pain&Suffering.
Total medical bills so far:
$265,000+
This could take a while...
BUT! When all is settled, I *WILL* Be buying a Marauder. It will get supercharged (not sure which yet, still trying to figure out which is best.), it WILL have 4.10s, and all the other cool things that can be done to make these cars the ultimate sleepers!
Phrog_gunner

Just so you know the national "standard" for pain and suffering is 3x the amount paid for medical bills.
