Took my car to the dealer today to address a couple of issues; rattling parcel shelf in the rear and whistling at the passenger side B pillar. Progress was made on the parcel shelf but zero advancement with the wind whistling. Has any one else had either of these problems and were you able to get them fixed. The dealer has been good and told me to bring it back if I wasn't happy but I just want to see if I can isolate the sources so I don't have to keep going back. The wind noise seems to come from the front passenger window area on the B pillar.

Thanks

I have the same problem now. Car is at the dealer as we speak for the second time. I noticed that if I roll my window all the way down to about 1/2 inch, slight pressure will push the window down almost into the seal. I figure it is off track. I will post whenever they fix my front end squeaking. They say everything is fixed. I will see if they addressed the window tomorrow.

If the inner seal is not touching the window it may be installed incorrectly. I was getting a lot of wind noise in my right rear window on the freeway, especially over 80 MPH. I noticed with the window up the inner seal along the bottom edge of the glass on the inside was about 1/4 inch away. All the other windows touched the glass. I took the right rear door panel off and the top rubber weather strip on the inside was not fully pushed onto the top of the door. Once I removed it (it pulls right up), I saw it had been put on crooked and the channel that rides on the top of the door pinch weld had been deformed from pushing it on the wrong way. I straightened the channel and pushed it back on all the way, the wind noise was gone.

The dealer has identified the source of the wind whistle. It's the window trim around the front passenger window. Parts are on order thank goodness-I was hearing that whistle in my sleep.
