Stock K&N drop in filter

I was lined up for one but got sold before i sent the money :(

These are readily available at most auto part stores for $40.00. They actually sell for a couple bucks more plus shipping on EBAY.

I found one of those in my car the first time I put a new (paper) filter in.

I couldn't tell the difference at all, other than if I put it back in, I would have to clean and oil it instead of just throwing it away.

I plan on going CAI as soon as I have the bucks. Gotta fix my other car first. Poor Marauder has to wait a little longer...

I installed the K & N recently and notice no difference in performance.

The drop in filter isn't going to give you SOTP (Seat Of The Pants) feeling in performance but it can add a few hp.
