Mission Raceway - Oct 2nd

A few or us are heading to Mission Raceway on Friday, Oct 2nd. Its the second to last night before the season ends. If your interested in going, chime in here...So far I'm the only N/A Marauder so I could use some company...DeMinimus? Canadamarauder?

Doesn't matter what time you get there, unless they are full up with entrants already. Some folks don't show up til around 1800 or so, then tech, so their first race is around 1900...but you'll only get 1 or two runs in that way.

Well, we had 3 MMs out tonight, and it was great to all get together. The track was half empty, so we had SIX runs in 3 hours....sweeeet!

My times were:
13.633@106.71 (with a passenger)

13.208@106.82

13.013@107.34

12.913@107.93

12.817@107.78

I was the fastest Marauder there tonight, the one that SHOULD have been (2Dmax) was on a brand new set of widened rims/tires that were installed last night. Once they're broken in, his personal best of 12.74 will be down to high 12.5s

Freakstatus represented the N/A segment by nailing a best of 14.4 with a textbook launch, and all of his runs were within .2 of each other.

2DMax had a bit of a frustrating night, after burning the midnight oil last night to get his widened rims installed. There was some interference with the strut mounts and exhaust, but he sorted it out. Even with the 295s, he still had traction problems AND the highest trap speed of all of us.:eek:
His personal best of 12.74 will fall bigtime once the new tires have had a chance to break in a bit. I'm predicting 12.5s for him very soon!

It sure is nice when its not that busy at the track....seemed like every time I finished a run, our class was called out again. Fun times.:D
