Gauge light problem

so my volt gauge doesnt ligh up anymore but the oil pressure one does. i pulled the panel off to see if something came loose and i didnt see anything detaced in there. so i was wondering if you guys had any ideas?

Replace the bulb?

The bulbs burn out after they get a little age on them. They are pretty easy to replace, I am a mechanical retardate and managed to do it on both cars in an hour working slowly.

Replace both bulbs with new ones so the lighting will match or it will bug you. Also, the bulbs have tiny plastic "condoms" on their heads to tint the light. Don't forget to carefully peel them off the old bulbs so you can use them on the new bulbs. If someone has previously replaced those bulbs, the condoms may already be gone though.

do we need to lube up the condoms before we put them back on the knob? looks like a pretty tight fit.
