SOLD!!!!

Greetings friends and fellow Marauder lovers,

Due to illness and financial pressures we are offering our blue 2003 Marauder up for sale. It's time for us to become a one car family again for a while.

Cosmetically, it has a little paint off the front right bumper corner, otherwise pretty good shape for a daily driver. It has the normal amount of tiny parking lot dings, scratches, chips etc for a Marauder with just over 57,000 miles on it. It has been parked outdoors during it's years with me, so paint is not perfect. This isn't a show car, it has been the "go everywhere car" for several years. On the upside, some of the paint is better than factory as various mishaps have required repainting. Paint and body, and most mechanical repairs have been done at Don Reid Ford in Maitland, FL. We recently had it professionally detailed inside and out.

I had one bad wreck a little over two years back (creamed the rear of an Explorer) with about ten grand worth of damage to the front end. A lot of the accessories such as a/c and air ride compressors that were mounted up front took bumps and were replaced. It still runs great.

This MM was raced during the MVIV drag day (6 or 8 runs), but hasn't been to the track since.

For more history, you might want to search for all threads started by ckadiddle.

Recent repairs I can remember off the top of my head:
LCM, multifunction switch, headlight switch (wacky headlights)
power mirror switch (wacky mirror)
wiper motor and pigtail (wacky wipers)
engine rear seal
transmission tailshaft seal

MODIFICATIONS:
Reinhart tune with xcalibrator2
Magindat diamond plate air dam
PHP cold air intake
Magnaflow mufflers
OEM "whale tail" spoiler
Command rotors on all four wheels
Hawk HPS brake pads
Class III trailer hitch

Recently we purchased another Ford ESP with 100 dollar deductible. This will carry you out until 91000 or so miles.

We are asking for 14,000 dollars including the ESP. I still have the original parts that came off for mods if you wish them, but you will have to help me dig them out of the utility room. :-)

PM ckadiddle for contact info. We have the title in hand. Price is always negotiable if you have ready cash. I will try to answer all questions to the best of my recollection.

I think you're underestimating the condition of this DBP. If I remember correctly, I saw you and this DBP at the Advance Auto Parts meet in Casselberry back in May and your car looked outstanding! Sorry you have to sell (I've been there :() and best of luck with the transaction...

Thank you for the compliment, that was us at AAP. I would rather sell for a bit less and have it go to a loving home than get the absolute last dollar out of it. There is a lot of sentimental value attached to it that we could never put a price on.

I never understood why a potential buyer always wants the seller to call them. If you are interested, his number is on the listing, pick up the phone and call.

I didn't actually list my phone number - I asked for possible buyers to PM me for my contact info. It's OK, no big deal.

Thanks. I was shocked to have so much interest in a very short time.

Actually, I just got back to work after being laid off for 9 months, otherwise I would have been all over this. You took care of your car and it showed.
But I am biding my time and getting more secure. Then, a Marauder will be mine :D

First off, I want to thank Pete for a smooth as silk transaction.

I will confess that I have yet to see the car, but my friends coordinated the pick up and delivery of the car to my shop while I have been away (I am on the plane now returning from Las Vegas).

I will post pics as soon as I can.

Thanks again Pete!!!!!
