View Full Version : Blue is back on the road!!!!!!

First and foremost I have to thank both Rich Long for supplying the motor and Zack (unfortunately he won't see this) for all the labor that took to do the motor swap today.....THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU :bows: :bows: :bows: I would also like to thank Zack (again, unfortunately he won't see this) for taking the time and effort to take my upper & lower intakes, timing cover, cam covers and cop covers to have them powder coated DPB :bows: Zack got to my house about 7:30 am and didn't leave till 6:45 pm!! No problem getting the damaged motor (not sure what caused the engine to lose oil pressure, oil pump fine) after that the new motor went in w/o a hitch!! Ate lunch and finished it off and started right away!!! BLUE is back on the road again :burnout:
Zack took time away from doing his own thing to help me because since I have a contract on my house, and the proposed closing date is 9/30/09, I needed to get the motor swap done this weekend because if all goes well, I'll be moving next weekend :beer: Once I figure out how to post pictures, I will, but please don't hold your breath :D

Congrats on getting the M back on the road. I believ ack can do MM motor swaps with his eyes closed (but I hope not literally).

didnt even know you lost the motor! congrats man. Zack does still read this forum btw. and he has helped me alot all ready on the eaton swap.

I was gonna do the lap untill I heard $110.00 for registration even though it was Sat morning only for me, wife, and kids, plus hotel for Fri. night, plus gas, ETC. I had Saturday morning open, but went ahead and changed plans.

I just worked 5 shifts in 3 days, I had to get some sleep inbetween those doubles. :(

Yea, about time!!! I've missed driving her :D Zack stopped by tonight to install a new fuel pump (stock) and BLUE runs like a champ :burnout:

I agree. It's a clean, subtle engine bay enhancement.
