Logan, did the new exhaust give you those last 20 watts? And are those only "seat of the pants" watts, or have you had it dyno'ed?

I think what EVERYONE wants to know is will this effect gas mileage?

Logan,
Think you could use a Sunroof to round things out!
BTW, you do nice work in every respect. I'm envious. Keep up the good work on your car and this MM board/net.

Well...Yes and no. The base install went fine, got the steering wheel buttons working okay, but had to change out the CD changer for a Pioneer unit. I didn't have time in my schedule to let them install it the way they want to, and I'm going back this next Monday to finish up. They (www.musicinmotion.net) are gutting the DIN space and building a custom shelf to allow the DVD screen to open fully. I'm also looking at a sweet amp/subwoofer combo to round things out. I already have the Infinity Kappas in each corner. Can't thank you enough for the sweet deal, Logan, this is one hot mod in my book. Now, where are my bagpipe videos...

Logan, when you hit 2500+ watts, let me know... <evil grin>

This is the system moving from my Mountaineer to my Marauder.

Not taking anything away from your bad ass system Logan, it is really SWEET. I'm looking forward to duplicating the head-rest monitors in mine as well.

Cheers!

I'm old and hard of hearing from 200watt systems we had in the 70's, how far away are you going before you crank these things up?

TooManyFords. with that system turned up, and the vehicle on a smooth road with no brake applied, does the vehicle be propelled forward? :)

To really turn it up, I have to get out and stand back. But as any stereo afficinado knows that it's not how many watts, it's how you use them. <BG!>

Great for campouts though!

RC - there is such a competition. Current entrants are in the 130,000 watt range. translated into Horsepower, that ~174 horsepower - all in sound!
