Just Can't Take My Eyes off Her

I took advantage of the perfect weather yesterday to get the Bluerauder in shape for the trip to Indianapolis. Blue sky and not too hot at all. Started with a wash and followed up with the clay bar for an all over skin treatment. Slick as a baby's butt now. Then she got a good waxing with Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax. Wheels were shined with Turtle Wax ICE. Spent another hour on the engine. The entire job took about 6 hours and the BLUERAUDER is looking mighty fine. You'll have to take my word for it 'cause it was getting dark as I finished up. :P

I won't have to do much more than a quick wipe down between now and Indianapolis. If it rains enroute to Indiana like it has for the past 2 Louisville runs, then chances are high that the hood will stay down. :o

After 6.5 years, I still think that the Marauder is one of the best looking cars on the road (if not the best). And when they are all bright and shiney .... the MM really stands out as a work of art.

I am going out on the porch and look at her again as the sun comes up. :D

Morning Charlie! I can just see you out on the porch this morning ogling your car. LOL.....and I can't blame you. She's beautiful! Mr. Man and I went to a Cruise night at a 50's style Diner up in Sussex County yesterday afternoon/ evening. There were 400 cars. A lot of amazing machines of all era's. We were the one and only Marauder. The guy who was in charge of parking said he not only had never seen one, he didn't know they existed. We got a spot in the front row and got a lot of interest. At the end of the night, Mr. Man went to get the car while I waited on the Patio. Guys were driving their cars around the Diner for one last look. Some really great looking cars went by as I watched. Then out of the corner of my eye, I saw a flash of polished aluminum wheels and here came my car. Couldn't take my eyes off her either. Looked so beautiful to me. Some one asked me yesterday, "What is your dream car?" I could think of nothing but my Marauder. Crazy in love I guess.;)

It happened. :cool: I was down at the local marina near my house, a guy came up during my photo shoot and noted that the car "Was absolutely Gorgeous". Of course, he got the full tour of the MM. So don't just take my word for it .... there is an unsolicited comment from a By-Stander. :P

She looks great, Sir. Even a some good scenery to boot. Although I was tricked, I thought I was getting some shots of the MM taken just for me, turns out I'm not as special as I thought I was. :bigcry:

I know the feeling. :D Between the mistakes of myself and others, Junior isn't as pretty as some of the other Marauders around, but when I pull into the driveway at night and look at my car in the moonlight, I can't help but think "What an awesome car! Beautiful!" I love the moonlight on the black. Can I get a second for that motion? I did one time have a woman comment to me that my Marauder was sexy... Who am I to deny it?:cool:
