I know this must be an easy one, but could someone tell me how to do this? I have an '03 MM and this is the first bulb ever that has to be
replaced...................... .............................. .......Thanks, Scippy

Simply grab both sides of the cluster assembly and pull straight back (with gear shifter moved back for clearance) From there you will see the bulb, just twist 1/4 turn and pull back.

Shoot, your right! Nevermind, take it to the dealer. Or send me a check for $45.00.

scippy, now that you have the gauge pod out, it's a good time to replace the factory fake oil pressure gauge with a real one that works...

Is it not accurate at all?? I've never had a problem, but that's not to say
the OEM is less than desireable. anyway, it would have to go down on the list of things I need now. i.e, faulty EATC, adjustment to linkage for shift
problems, replace rear pas. window switch and of course those bulbs.
speaking of which the cost to all this is rather high considering "I'm no mechanic" and really appreciate the "how to" approach on this site for those little things (bulbs, switches) that otherwise would save me a trip
to the dealership.
case in point, the part cost for the window switch 'only" @ Mercury is $91
could this be gotten elsewhere for less or is it solely a MM part. thanks

I doubt window switches are Marauder specific.
Let me go outside and check.
Well they are different than "Lil Sis" 2002 GMQ LSE HPP maybe someone with 2003 + newer can check.

When oil pressure reaches ~6 lbs, a switch closes and causes the gauge to read about half-way. You could have 7 lbs or 70 and it will always give the same reading. It's the next thing to being worthless. A REAL, working gauge that looks almost identical can be had for around $60...AutoMeter #4327.

Overload, "Ain't nothing wrong with a purty look'in gauge if it ain't purty
important" , but as you say "A REAL" working gauge is no doubt a must
have for the real time pressure, will be getting that soon..........Scippy
