Mill's is making me a double gauge pod column mount for my boost gauge and fuel press. I was thinking of installing 2 red LED's in the pod (like a heads up display) to come on during low oil or fuel pressure situations (kinda like a dummy alert light). Is this possible and how?

Oil pressure warning LED is simple. There is a post somewhere with the part number for a oil pressure switch. Gotta put a tee in the line for the regular oil pressure sensor and the switch.
Fuel pressure is more of a challenge, no simple way to do it.

For oil, what would be an adequately low psi reading?

I believe the switch is around 5 psi.

Cool, thanks! Technically couldnt you do that for the fuel as well?

No. Fuel pressure doesn't have a specific good/bad pressure. It varies with manifold pressure/vacuum. It may be between 20 psi (at idle) and 45-60 psi (at WOT, especially if it's hot) and still be good. Or it could be 20 psi (at WOT) and be bad. Plus the switch diapharagm would likely be attacked by gasoline.

If it goes out of spec, the Check Engine Light should come on.

Im more worried about a critical fuel pressure drop while in boost.

Fuel pressure gauges for inside the MM are very expensive. Try this one for $12.00.

You won't see it anyway. You'll be looking at the road as the lines become dots.

a/f gauge wouldnt give me a good enough danger reading would it?

Hence why i wanted a "heads up" light

Agreed! AFR gauge would be the best solution for what you're worried about. Some of them (Dynojet) can be setup to turn on a warning light if the AFR is too lean. It can be connected with a RPM signal and TPS input too, so you can prevent false alarms by only having the light activate if the RPM is above a certain point AND the TPS is at WOT AND the AFR goes above 13 (or whatever you pick).

Here is another site that might be of interest, this is what a friend of mine runs in his Escort Cosworth and it is a great product! They have a lot of different options available as well.
