yesterday was on way home, and i noticed it was getting a little warm so i lowered the temp on the automatic. 1st i noticed....hmmmm why isnt the blower a blowin. I look under hood the a/c compressore is quick cycling, and the line appered to be froze up. i looked @ the fuses seemed to be ok.I went down to my store to plug in a blower moter....nothing.So today i go to mother in laws house to test and swap part's from her 07 GM. head unit checked ok. I had seen a reference to the blower relay/module. I pulled mine and plugged into the GM... no blow! so i went to the ford house got a new one and plugged in... blower working again but not the compressor. i check my static low presure and was higher than the GM, so low on the 134 should't be issue. I might have burned up compressor when blower went out frezzing lines?????? i don't know which 2 wire to connect together to bypass low pressure switch to see it is bad....help?

You might have a cloged orifice tube or Expansion Valve which ever you want to call it. This will cause the pressure to exceed normal limit's and if the cut off pressure switch dosn't shut the compressor down to drop pressure then eventualy seals start to blow out and the system evacuates and you can always see oil residue where it is leaking.

It is a filter that goes into the evaperator inlet. You have to evacuate the system and disconect the hose to the evaperator and then use a pair of needle nose pliers and pull it out and yes they are tuff to pull out.
You can pic it up cheap at any parts store.

Put the new one in and reconnect the hose then go to a shop and have the system properly vacumed out and recharged.
A common problem on those systems for the GM's.
