View Full Version : Rear brake pads that make no ridge
Is there rear brake pads that cover the entire disc braking range surface (make no ridge) available for the MM?

No. That has to do more with the positioning of the caliper and the brackets.
Why do you want to know?

I have never seen a pad that covered the entire rotor, there is probably a reason for this ( ^^ to allow for variances in how the caliper ends up positioned, how accurately the friction material is glued onto the pad backing, whatever)

If you get your rotors turned, the ridge magically goes away......

I think he means of COURSE, but I'm no grammarologist.
Actually this is a waste of 10% of the braking surface on each disc. So this result in wasted braking power for the rear, wich i consider very interesting to bring back.
