When I took my Marauder in for it's first check up the Ford dealer rotated my tires but not side to side but back to front. I picked up the car and started off and the ABS light and brake lights came on. The service manager said "I didn't get any bulletins on this". Sheeeesh!:confused:

The sadder part is that the tech couldn't see the tire size difference when he rotated them, and then parked it with those lights glowing. :mad2::mad::mad2:

Well that's because the rear tires are 245/55/18 and the fronts are 235/50/18, I hate dealerships!

They did that to mine after I complained of a shimmy when I bought her. Idiots.

To be honest when Marauder's first came out the first time I worked on one it was for a trans problem and they wanted oil change and tire rotation. So I fixed the trans changed the oil and X rotated the tire's:P. Made it about 10 miles on my test drive and bam yellow and red lights. So every tech does it to at least one and you never forget I was just lucky enough to catch it before the customer got there car back

Not by the dealer, but by a local shop that the dealer sub leted the; trying to chase the steering shimmy escapade.

This used to happen more frequently when the MM was newer. I think by now most of us tell the service manager to write on the order DO NOT ROTATE THE TIRES in big block letters. Even then, I still do a walk around to make sure before I leave the lot.

To be honest, the service mgr. had guys waiting to right the wrong when I brought the car back in. I actually took the car to show to a buddy of mine and while looking at noticed that it was level...wtf, I believe were my exact words.:argue:
