First I want to thanks for nht and RR Suki and his brother for coming to the track tonight. To bad we were rained off before you two could make a run. The amount of runs was bad as they had loads of snowmobiles tonight!

Next I need to give Sherman some thanks on the advice and pep talks he has been giving me. He told me that I would be able to do a full pace after a couple of runs. He was right as the First pass was all out! Thanks Sherman!;) The car hooked pretty good and went straight! It went 11.6622 @ 122.08. I have to tell you I was thrilled! THe car has the street tune in it and the smaller tires. We will have a video up sometime on Saturday.

The second run was 12.05 @117. It blew thie tires off about 20 feet out.

Nice meeting you man, and good runs. We JUST got home, changing the wheels back in the rain with the wet dirt was interesting to say the least :lol:. I was pretty shocked that they wouldn't give those of us who had been there since before 7 and got 0 runs some kind of refund or rain check. Such is life though.

aiin't no thing man, my brother and I did it in ok time, biggest problem was that the ground got pretty soft towards the end of the first wheel swap. :eek: I might call down to the track in the morning and at least try for a rain check or something.

11.66 is an amazing time...especially the trap speed. I remember when mid-11's in these big cars was completely unheard of. Try the burn out when you roll thru the water box, instead of "in" the water box. That'll drop your 60' time for sure.

No shame here Chris! I am still grinning over that one. I knew I had layed a good one down before I hit the traps as things were moving fast. We need to talk next week and I will run my ideas past you and Sherman. Besides Doomie is going to have to work on this one, unless he has you do it for him!

Yep got an email back saying that they have no control over the number of cars... even though they are the ones who gave bikes and snowmobiles their own lane and kept letting them run :argue:

I will be there with the 64 Tbolt Tribute car as I have no roll bar till this winter. Then there is the door missing door handle problem! I did get a easy fix figured out last night for that. I would be able to run 11.50 but the car is faster than that. Next year it will be ready to play in the 10.90 index class as that looks like fun to me! Good hearing from you!:beer:
