Repeating the name I've given my car would violate my own content rules so ummmm.... here it is...

G%^ D*(# M#&**r F*&@%#

Or at least that's the most common phrase used when working on 'er...

a name for the car, but one guy I work with says to anyone he's with when I pull up in the workplace parking lot..."Here comes the Green Hornet".......(remember that show?)...I don't remember what kinda car it was that the Green Hornet drove though...

Logan

It was a modified 1966 Chrysler Imperial Crown 4 door sedan, made by Dean Jeffries for about $50k in 1966!!

you did some impressive detective work there to come up w/that info. That PIC brings back some memories since I used to watch that show when I was about 5 or 6 yrs old w/my older brothers. here;s a green Hornet trivia question for you guys:

Who was the actor seen in that pic that Logan just posted who played the role of The Green Hornet's partner???

Ross
10-23-2003, 07:55 AM
Bruce Lee, before he became famous. He played Kato.

Yep, and also a Supercharger from Dennis. Or, if you want an 11 sec Marauder, you can call prize headquarters and choose the 6-71 Weiand Blower option as long as you don't mind the hole that has to be cut in the hood to accomadate that.

Quicksilver, an old term used for the element Mercury.

My father always named his cars:
1956 Chevy Nomad "Norman" - he still has this one
1974 Olds "Cute Curt" the Cutlass
1977 Pontiac Grand Prix "Gunther"
1978 Seville "Sylvester"
1970 Chevy Wagon "Blue Bomber"

He nick named me too, when I was like 2 I used to complain to him that my brother Matt was hasslin' me by saying "Macky dooning" like Matt is doing something. So Matt became "Mack" and I became "Dooner"

This naming thing has kind of rubbed off on me. My last cool ride I named:

1992 Dodge Stealth RT Twin turbo "Stealtheger"

And my current ride:

2004 MErcury MArauder "MEMA" - 1 bad mutha :P

And now my son Kyle has a few nick names:
Captain K
Yiyo - that's what he used to call him self before he could propnounce his name.
Mr. K
Captain Critter

So there you go...

Mine is the Black Bomber. because I like dropping the bomb on those Ricers.

Also the B26 Marauder in WWII was nick named the 'Widow Maker" by the cremen who flew in her.

Haven't got a name for it, refer to it as the Shelby Marauder or DR S/C #1. I think Steve Babcock's wife has a name for it though. -kjs-

The red car has a couple names: crown b*tch, big red, Vicky or the RocketCouch

The green car is either Jade, the police car or the pos daily driver

I had a blue 1981 Z-28 that I terrorized Jacksonville Florida with, it just screamed "stop me i'm doing something wrong", but this car is like a police magnet! I've even had them circle around me on the Interstate just checking the car out. Kind of funny. Hey, I'm originally from TN, what part are you in?
