BDJ, :congrats: on the milestone!

How many of the members have been around longer? You must be one of the originals.

BTW, how long has Garfield been with you?

You got me.:bows: I picked up my Marauder on 1 Nov. 2002. I plan on keeping it forever though. My kids keep arguing over who gets it when I croak but I've told them it will be sold and they can split the money. Their cars are loaded with hockey sticks, softball bats 'n gloves, beer cans etc. I would be rolling over in my grave!

I picked mine up in June of 2002.
Congrats Bigdog Jim. Back in May of 2002 a Guy in Texas (Logan) start a Marauder site. And it quickly became the official information site for the Marauder.

Congratulations Jim! You are a BIG (no pun intended):D reason that this site has been so enjoyable. In fact, you are the one who "carded" me a long time ago! It took me a year or two longer to get involved, but you get the credit.;) You were at the first meet we attended in Hanover. It felt like Internet dating to drive for hours to the middle of nowhere to meet a bunch of total strangers. (and boy were you all strange!!):D No, just kidding. You all were so welcoming to us noobies and made us feel at home. Especially you, Jim! We've been hooked ever since. You have been at almost all of the meets we've attended.....including Gettysburg '08 where you showed up just for lunch!! I'll never forget you standing in the road stopping the oncoming traffic while 17-18 Marauders pealed out of that parking lot!! LOL I think Merc was blocking the other traffic with his car. What a sight.! The locals thought the Feds were in town!!. Then there was the time in Louisville where you threw me your keys so I could test out your sway bars on the way back from dinner. Who else would do that?!:burnout: Mr. Man and I enjoyed having you come up to our neck of the woods for the Hackettstown Car Show this summer. Offroadkarter and Crabby came out as well and we had 4 Marauders in that little town all at once! The point is that you go out of your way to make people feel welcomed and included no matter who they are, and support the meets/shows by your presence and enthusiam. Here's to seven more years!Thank you Jim for all the many ways you have enhanced our enjoyment of this site and our car! We are so proud to call you friend.

Congrats Jim:beer: Like you, I've never kept a car as long as this one and I have no plans of selling it. I bought a few since, but this ones a keeper.

My 7 yr anniversary is coming up in November. I got my info on the Marauder from a longtime friend who also told me about this site. Rick lives in Chicago and I in Atlanta. Rick's a shrewd negotiator and when he sealed his deal he passed along the info and I bought mine the following week. Many of you know Rick as the originator of the Marauder cards, Marauder pens, Marauder Notepads, etc. and known here on MM.net as "Slowpoke".
Unfortunately we don't see Slowpoke on here much because he's busy with his family (Jet keeps him runnin') and a new business. He does still have his Marauder as well ( I think he's up to 22,000 miles now)

Congrats Jim on 7 terrific years. :2thumbs: I hit 6 years on 4 Oct 09. Has it really been that long? ;)

I still remember the first time I met you at the rest stop south of Philadelphia enroute to one of Ray's "Support the Troops" cruises in April 2004. You led the convoy of aobout 16 MMs on the wide ride up I-95 through Philly enroute to Bennigan's. It is always a pleasure when you show up (sometimes unexpectedly at events).

Congrats Jim!
We first met at Big Bats on Kent Island back in Fall 2004?
I remember joking with you about "how many cows it took" when you were telling me of your quest for a 5XL leather jacket!

We got ours in Oct of 2003. Met you at Klingers the first time as Ms.D stated above. I lurked here for alongggg time before Paula decided to join. :congrats: on your milestone. I kept my GMC for over 18 years and would still be driving it if GM had made it out of something other than recycled ricers, stupid rust!!

Congratulations!! I joined this site in June 2004 shortly after I got My 2004 DTR. Marauderville 7 will be my first meet and I am sorry to say I will not get to see you there. The only vehicle I even considered trading for was the F150 Raptor when Ford originally said it would be offered in a 6.2 supercharged v8. Now I do not have to worry about it since they took that option away. I look forward to seeing some of you in the next few days.:beer:

Hey, bigdog, I just noticed that you reside in lawrence twp. n.j.----I live in Sayreville, n.j. & drive an 03 blk. MM, also, maybe we could get together sometime, I've been looking to hook up with other MM owners in the area, with no luck, so if you'd like to get together & talk cars & especially our MM's, let me know, thanks "Irish".
