Hi

see some GM can start the engine with the keyless remote

when pressing LOCK & UNLOCK bottoms at the same time

any marauder has this option ?

is it option or programming or what?

no, the car has no remote start... Your car is based off a platform from 1979, we dont know these "technologies"

Some aftermarket Remote starters allow you to reprogram the factory fobs to work this way. Most of these are very short range. You are better off getting a complete remote starter that will also do keyless entry and trunk. We sell them PM for details. You will also need a Transpoder key interface module. It is best to go to a pro for the install.

Remote start never came from factory for the Marauder, GM or CV. It would of been a Dealer add on item or aftermarket install.

I had the dealer install the Ford Alarm/remote start when i purchased my MM. Works great.

I installed my own aftermarket remote start. About 8hrs of work but I know it's done right.

I'd install my own but just too lazy and don't want a shop to do it cause they will use crimps when I want every connection soldered.

I had a "code-alarm" remote install 7 years ago and no issues what so ever:)

Ford now uses a another remote system however friends have them and also no issues.
