gear swap?

Can anybody tell me if marauder 3:55 gears will work in my grand marquis...id like to think that all 8.8 rears are the same but i dont know enough about marauders to know if theres a difference...someone else posted some gears and the question was asked if they would fit a mustang and the answer was yes...so im assuming they would work but can anybody tell me otherwise?

All 8.8 Ford rears take the same gears. BTW, I have a set of 3.55's that have about 15k on them.

Unless you know where these gears came from use caution when buying used gears.

Only other thing you will need is a tune for 3.55 gears to correct the trans shift schedule and speedometer.
