Have you tried a Marauder cover from the dealer or know someone that's used one

I bought a Covercraft Sunbrella cover for my MarkVIII in 04 after 5 years and 4-6 trips through the washing machine, it still looks like new. It does and has since new passed some dust but all day in the sun with a black car and the car is not nearly as hot
I just bought a new Covervraft Weathertech HP for the Marauder. It doesn't have quite the warranty as the first one 4 vs 5 but it passes No dust so far and the Marauder (and the Mark these days) stay in the shade all the time anyway.
I would buy another Sunbrella one in a heartbeat if my car was in the sun at all.

Update,
I just returned the Covercraft Weathertech HP cover after finding scratches on my front and rear bumpers from stitching in the elastic.
Going with another Sunbrella

do you mean the elastic in the seams of the cover or the elastic that holds the cover on the car? I found some decent ones from empire. This cover was a replacement cover for a custom cover that cost three times as much and started leaking water and collecting dust under the cover in less than a year. My Empire cover is 4 months old, has survived numerous strong thunderstorms and seering Texas sun, and so far is exceeding my expectations.

I just bought the California Car Cover Superweave for outdoor elements. I don't have any long term experience yet. It has only been on the car for 2 months now but through a lot of rain and wind. Each time I check under it the car is clean, dry, and nice. So far, so good. It is for my other car, 93 TBird SC, that's been pushed out of the garage :(:(:( this fall by motorcycles.

It was in the elastic that holds the cover on the car.
The elastic was pretty tight and after spending 30+hours polishing the paint to glass any marring is visible.
The cover was also too light and as slick as my paint is it was difficult to put on/take off without assistance.
