We got home around 1:15. The Marauder has been cleaned up and put away. :sleepy:

It was great to see some old friends meet some new ones. This community never fails to amaze me with it's friendlienss and generosity.

Thanks again to all who made this such a memorable event.

We just walked in about 15 minutes ago.... Had a fun drive home with Eric Jones, and Waymon. We played with a poor guy in a Ford Fusion that thought he could hang with the Marauder. Fun times...

John you need to learn to stay until the final day so you can get your trophies! :D

I made it back quickly on the way home. Found a Charger and a few Pontiac's and we did between 90-100mph the whole time. To the music of Rockabilly, White Zombie, The Misfits, Assjack, Foxbro Hottubs, Sam Cooke, Ricky Nelson and Elvis Presley. (Sun Records era)

I cannot wait for the next one.

Plane arrived early in Bah-stun. Beautiful, warm and sunny here. Phoebe was so glad to see us! She is now escorting us for the 90 min. ride back to Olde Cape Cod. I'll check back in later.

Just walked in at 10pm with all my spark plugs still in the engine! I learned that running on all 8 cylinders gives you much better gas mileage then running on 7. I pulled a record 375 miles for a tank full rather then the 215 a tank I did on the way up to Indy.

As always, Marauderville was a great time, Thanks to MM.net for putting together such a great event.
The fact that I was able to win a trophy against so many Marauders and that the judges were among the most fairest and most respected in the Marauder community, made this trophy worth its weight in gold to me.

Great meeting some of you guys for the first time and it was great seeing all the members I have met over the years. Im already looking forward to the next event.

We got home at 9:40 PM after a run of 10 hours and 20 minutes. Start to Finish was 1,529 miles including nearly 300 miles in the Indianapolis area. Had to unpack and put stuff away before checking in here. Now to check the pics. I have 176 of them. :D

Had a great time .... non-stop fun the entire week. But it was all over so fast. Just hated to leave.

Thanks to Dan, Mary, and MM.Net for a terrific Marauderville. :2thumbs:

It was great to see familiar faces and add a whole new bunch of folks to the list. :)

Walked in the door about 10 minutes ago at 1 am. Maude the cat was glad to see us!. Enjoyed running with so many of our friends on the way home; Bluerauder and Bernie, Haggis/Ladyhawke, Silversurfer03/TCBO1, N40GL, Pantheroc and Diane, Big Dog Jim, Cruztaker, Fast Merc, and JCMM and hubby. (Who am I forgetting?) We split off to take I-80 across PA and ended up in a 15 mile back up due to "construction" minus any evidence of construction activity or construction workers. Blackened300a, sounds like you and Susan didn't run in to that so it was good that you went on a head!! The rest of us stopped for gas twice, and stopped at Mickey D's and Cracker Barrel.:D

I am so tired I can't see straight so I'm heading for bed now. Good night all you Marauderers and thanks for another amazing time with the best cars and their people anywhere!!

I was going to go that route but according to my GPS, it went from being a 715 mile trip to a 800 mile trip. So we stuck to riding I70 to the PA pike and pulled into Carlisle for the final fill up at around 6:30PM. Then it was a pretty smooth and traffic free trek through PA and NJ til we reached the Cross Bronx on the other side of the GWB. At that point I took the Deegan and then the Triboro and was pulling into my parking lot for 10pm exactly.
Glad you guys made it home safe!

We got in at 2130 last night, huh... We went right to bed! So it took 12 hours with two stops for gas and a short stop at Roy Rogers in Fredricksburg to go. Took the day off from work to recuperate from my time off from work. We had a great time seeing everyone again! Looking forward to the next time.

Another great event put on by MMNet and the membership! Way to go! Thanks to all who contributed and to those that attended. It takes both to make it successful. Special thanks to Mary, Bob, Dan, the guest judges for the fantastic effort. Hope I didn't leave anyone out.

Two thumbs up for the hotel and staff!

Yeh, the Lions still suck, guess that is why we are big hockey fans. Maybe they should go to periods instead of quarters. Our first Marauder meet, other than the Motor City Marauders and the Dream Cruises and it was awesome. We are ready for the next! Great cars, great people.
