He who shall not be named just texted me his time at the track today with his newfound power. He ran a 10.82 at 127 with NO spray!!!:D

Round two he unfortionately snapped an axle :mad:(still stock) with no spray either.

Maybe Dom will chime in with more details as he was there and I'm stuck at home today with the kids and yardwork.:(

I wasn't there due to taking care of my GF. She became very sick last night. :(

Zack told me the same thing and was looking for a way to get home. I told him I would rent a U-Haul trailer, drive my truck over and take care of him, but my truck isn't with me right now.

I will hear more details later. I cannot wait to hear what it does with the spray and a new rear end.

Update, he got a 1.51 60' NOT hammering in his words like he normally does. He said the car handled like a dream, staight as an arrow, and also said its a BEAST. Anyways he is allready in the process of a complete rear end teardown and build up and if all comes together on time, a retry next sunday. Good luck and I hope to make it out.

i agree on al lparts except the cost. those 3.4s arnt cheap! plus its on a cobra long block!

It used to be a daily driver.
This car is a sneaker indeed with out any special track preps.

He was likely thrown off the track as he was several years ago on a mere low 11 run.

This is was what the fellow in the timeslip hut wrote on his slip before handing it to him (not a fake, a scan of the original):

At US 41 you can drive an eight second car down the track in slip flops, with shorts and have your hair blow in the wind. I'm sure they didn't kick him out, but any other place they would have.

Zack has informed me he will be back on the 18th for a new run and will be spraying it this time. He also believes the car can run 10.5 without using the spray. Could the first in the 9s be a banned member? Tune in next week for the results!

I will be there and hope to run a 12.4 after Zack is done tweeking my car.

You know what though, if the car runs the number then it's a damned admirable accomplishment and we should recognize it as such. We can do it here though and not in the area where the members times are obviously.

Timeslip position data is taken from the user's info. Since he can't login and change his info, he's stuck with what he had before being banned.

Timeslip info isn't totally accurate anyway, Jerry B made a quicker run than what's listed in the timeslips, but he left mm.net and won't come back to update his data. And there's another one in the 10's that I've heard about who is a lurker but not a poster.

Whatever it is, it's quick. If he would make the 2 hour drive to the other track, I would bet $1 it would run 9s.
