i recently sold my 91' notchback and i find myself looking for some speed. i've always liked the marauder, but always out of my price range. has anyone, or does anyone know of someone buying one for around $7500? i found a marauder at a local dealership where they were asking $10k and i talked to the sales rep. who said they ended up selling it for $8500. does anyone know how much these might go for at the auctions? thanks in advance for help!

Keep searching you will find one for that price! they are out there! I have seen them in the past. it seems around 8500 is what it is taking to get a good high mileage clean one from what I have seen! just my .02 cents someone asking 8500 may take 7500 depending how bad they need to sell

No doubt. We must have looked at some of the same cars... :D

I love when the sellers start their classified ad with "2003 CV wit da Marada package"

Search all over, might have to travel to get the one you really want.

I got mine for 6K and it's in GREAT condition! Talked him down too! I found it on Craig's list in a little town. It was going back to auction after sitting for a year and a half. The lot owner even drove it on and off and couldn't understand why no one would buy it. He couldn't even pronounce or spell the name so go figure! Needed a few bulbs inside, EATC and LCM fixed, which I did.

Got mine for $8k with 87k miles. Pretty damn good shape, needed rear tires, otherwise a sharp car.

The deals are out there if you look hard enough.

Best advice:
Save/spend an extra $2k and get one that's truly nice and hasn't been beat on.

if you don't mind me asking what was he originally asking and where was the car bought? thanks!

Auto Brokers of Milford, NH. Original tag was 8K, Craigslist said 7K, he said I'll go as low as 6.5, I said 6 and I'll bring you cash. 6K! :D

WOW! Great price. :D

They are out there- I had to look for what I considered to be a lengthy amount of time for mine- I usually have cars find me, but the Marauder was an elusive beast to track down. Like a lot of things in my life, just when I least expect it, it happens...I found my clean 34,000 mile car for 10.5k.

Keep looking!

Exactly! I found mine by accident! I was actually looking for a CVPI because my Thunderchicken was rotting out and just figured I would type in Marauder in Craigslist. I had been casually looking for two years. It's a good time to look with the economy the way it is.

We took mine in on trade at the dealership i work at and I picked it up for $9,000 , with like 40,000 miles on it. Paid trade in value for it.
