Gentlemen... I would first like to request, if I can shuffle my chair somewhere between and within the Heavy Hitters area:coolman:. UPS delivered a very heavy heavy item that broke  the UPS Deliverer's pants belt. It arrived as I left for work, and it's my TRILOGY TWINSCREW!!!!! Unfortunately it will not be installed till the T/S is paid off first, then the second step begins, $aving $$$ for the installation. Please be patient with me, I have many questions as my Trilogized journey begins. :burnout:

Ummmmmmm Andrew will that be okay on a stock engine?

Take it to Zack for the install. He will have it done in days, not weeks like other speed shops.

Congrads! You'll kill me when it's installed. Welcome to the world of boost. I know your wife will love it too. ;)

I think you have to modify your hood to fit that set up. I am not completely sure though.

Good luck and have fun!

You'll be just fine with a safe tune, it was made for a stock engine. Just don't pulley the thing down too far. Enjoy brother!

You will enjoy it. Trilogy is a great setup, and the Twin Scren wlil be safe yet have headroom for TONS more boost if you should ever choose to go that way.

No hood mods needed.

Congrats to you.

I have a safe tune, 472 RWHP with mine, it will fit under your stock hood, you will not run out of boost, mine was still making power at 6500.

Do a self install, mine took a couple of days. FYI, You'll pick up 50 more horse with headers and cats.

He's had the stainless headers and cats in his garage since the group buy. He is driving me nuts! Not to mention his built trans, gears, ETC!!! Put that car together allready!

How can anyone store toys? I'm like a little kid. When I see the UPS guy I immediately point towards the garage, he sets it down, I sign, get out knife, open box, and install! No time wasted!! You guys have some serious self control.

It took me about 6 hrs fo swap from the Eaton Trilogy to the Lysholm. The original Eaton install was about 12 hours for 2 folks. With the 3.5" pulley Trilogy supplies I was making 12 #'s on a 4.6 stroked to 5.0, I would think it would make a little more with stock displacement. It definitely fits under the hood, but definitely rubbed the liner on mine. I swapped to a 3" pulley and now make a little shy of 15 #'s on a 5.3. I found some interesting data on the Lysholm, the recommend 13,000 maxiumum sustained RPM, while the Identical Whipple says 18,000. They both carry the same model # 140AX, and the Whipple Cobra pulley will fit the Lysholm. Jerry Barnes showed some concern about using that pulley, and the offset is a little different, but I have had no belt throwing or issues of anykind so far. You can buy the Whipple pulley for ~ $145.00 including shipping. I was referred to Billet Flow for a pulley, but the wanted $350.00 for theirs, so I instead bought 2 Whipples and still had a little change leftover.

Bob, it seems you've mistaken the words "self control" for what you should have said......... Lack of mechanical knowledge! :D:

takedown: as stated in this thread (http://www.motorcitymarauders.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10337) and agreed by a few, you would be better served by getting rid of that stall converter.

Otherwise congrats on your purchase.

I performed the justbob #22 mod. Of course mine is an Eaton, but it still rubbed nonetheless.

Did you get the last one? You are gonna love it! It will totally transform the car, I guarantee you 100% it will be all you expect and more!
And post pics from the install and a video when it's finished :burnout:

(On my car I removed the hoodliner because it was rubbing on the pulley.)

Drew, I would do the blower first.
You will crap yourself, with that all by itself.
If you do not think think this is sound advice, call the guy (my Mentor) that sold it to you.
If you want an installer, I have a good friend that will help you.
