i was lucky i had 2 of them, the first one me and my dad come up with was a down right abortion, but i used it to show the welder what i needed outa the second one. he did an awesome job on it. also by removing the one tube that goes down from the main tube it simplified things. just made a simple T and moved to the side. worked out great

Dave,
You couldn't use a Boost a Pump?

Coulda, but I think he's looking at the cheapest way. Pump upgrade costs less than a BAP, but it's harder to install.

Install looks great. Cnograts on getting it done...

And are you going to give a breakdown of parts and costs of each? Inquiring minds want to know.

-Matt-
10-08-2009, 07:27 AM
Did you buy your BAP new? 20 or 40amp? How much?

Mind if i also ask how much you paid for your gt40 pump? Im getting quoted $180 (i remembered them being cheaper?)

Thanks Dave.

Get back to work!!

Most guys don't know all the contents of the 120 lbs box that comes as a kit, believe me, it takes up a HUGE area in the living room and a couple hours to sort out. Dave along with others here are doing their own thing and for that I greatly admire their dedication! Although I feel my Trilogy sliding downhill in price daily now!!! Dave has had to pick this system piece by piece and go at it alone, or with phone help from the Zack hotline LOL. All the way down to the hoses he has had a battle finding ones that fit just right, I couldn't even image how many trips to the store he has done
now!

I'm just saying if anyone contemplates doing this then get your facts straight, get a list of ALL parts, grab as many phone numbers that you can, get ready for some down time, this will not be an outa the book experience.

Looks damn good Dave, and if you ask me, you got this done faster than I expected!

had it fired up today! took it around the block (so to speak). fuel pump turned out to be pretty easy. only had one little leak from the hose that goes to the heater off the cross over tube. turns out the clamp was just loose. all is well other wise, the tune in it now is really screwed up. speedo pegged out to 150+ going about 20mph. it goes to the tuner tomorrow.
