Does anyone have a closeup shot of the stock wiper arms? My driver's side one rubs on the cowl, and after removing them last night, I even notcied that the "stubs" are indexed - but the the arms I have are not. I don't know if these are OE or have been replaced with wrong ones at some time.
Plus has anyone noticed that the arms may have been put on the wrong sides (passenger / driver) at the factory? Why?
Thanks everyone.

There are "keys" that fit in the keyways to align the arms on the shafts. They fall out on the first removal and are generally lost forever!
I never had the problem you describe and after looking at them I am not sure I can figure it out.
Is the arm all of the way down on the shaft?
Are they reversed - try swapping them?
Good luck - I hope you can get this resolved!

That's the thing. I don't know if they are reversed. They are labelled "L" and "R" on the underside, but the passenger arm seems awfully long if put on the driver's side (as per the left/right labelled on the underside). Maybe that's the way they're supposed to be though.

The key's allways drop down into the wiper assembly. I've had luck in the past with using a magnet. I doupt that the key is very important unless you live around ice like me. Nevermind, I see your from Canada. Let me know exactly the pic you need and I'll post it.

I just need a shot of the arms situated on the window. I just don't know which arm goes on which side (left / right).

Sorry my junk is slow today!
The drivers side between the two lines drawn is 3" longer than the pass. Hope this helps.

The lines are supposed to be the start of the thicker part.

That is exactly what I was looking for!
Thanks so much.
(Now I'll go change them).
