View Full Version : Powerfest @ Palm Bch Raceway Oct 16-18th

On October 16-18th at Palm Bch. Raceway is having a Powerfest which consist of drag racing, vendors, and a car show. Is anyone interested in going? If so, what day?

I'm interested in going to the the car show for $5 on Sunday. The gates open at 9:00am.

So far we have: Cobra25, MMMAN,Ed, John N.,Juno

Who else?

The gates open at 9:00am and thats when I'll be arriving.
Once we obtain a head count from everyone attendng we can try and reserve parking spots.
Who can make it?

I went to this event before when it was Moroso , now it is Palm Beach Raceway, same Location just everything New now . When I went in the past the food was really good. They had a few different food vendors their, I believe I had the Southern Fried Chicken with the home made fries. The racing was fun the watch too. They had some auto parts vendors their too, I picked up a few things really cheap. The Car show was interesting . All in all I had a really nice time. Too say the least this Show is complete and not like all the other's we go too during the year. We are going on a Sunday so try to make this one if you can.

Good News their is less than a 10% chance of rain for sunday. Looks like a great day for this event ! :banana2:

We're meeting at the car show. Your spot is saved. The car show is from10:00am-3:30pm, but I will be there earlier to save spots for eveyone attending.

It appears Juno will be joining us.The temps for Sunday is suppose to be high 70's. Nice!

I was just watching the News and the weather for tommarrow looks great. It will be in the 60's in the morning going up to around 80 max during the day. About time ! It will be a really nice day to just hang out / chill and enjoy the show and watch the races.

I called the track and the Gates open at 8am, their was a typo on the flyer. Reg for the car show starts around 9:30 -10 am Cost $5.00. Their is FREE ADMISSION & FREE PARKING TOO ALL. We can sit down and have Lunch together at the Pit Stop. Check out the menu on the site, Looks good to me.

It might be a good idea to bring a light Jacket for the morning , also Don't forget to bring a chair if possble.
