Looks great Dave and those numbers are fantastic, did you get . What size pullys did you end up going with? Also what modifications did you make to the crossover besides moving the radiator hose tee(?)

Great work, I am glad you got her running and are now part of the boost family.

I plan on starting to gather these parts early next year. I only hope it turns out so well. I am sure I will be picking your brain and seeing where you may have sourced some of your parts from, but for the moment I will just be jealous.

i went with a 4lb lower with a 3.1 upper. the 3.1 still ended up hood liner so i took it out all together. personally i like it alot better without the liner, besides mine was all dirty and had holes in it.

for the cross over, basicly it just has to be shortened an inch and tucked tigher to the motor by about an inch as well. came out great and looks factory.

Did you do anything to the ends of the cut crossover tube to make the raditor hose grip it better or just put it over the straight tube? And once again man it looks awesome!! You are making me more excited about my build. Thanks

the only ends that dont have the barbs are the 2 on the T. everything else has a factory end

Nice. Good idea on the radiator hose T, greatly simplifies the crossover tube mods. Better re-connect the PCV on the driver's side and ditch the breather cap or that pretty engine is gonna have an oily mess all over it.

Dave - I'm happy for you. It all looks oem factory like. The perserverence you have shown and the colaberation with other creative members allowed you a unique ride. Nice job. Oh by the way you is the PVC valve allowing oil be sucked into the induction snorkle being so close ?

ya know i never really thought about that. but if you think about it, its really no closer then the factory set up just in a different spot.

True it's no closer than the stock Cobra, but since the other valve cover is connected to a breather it's potentially sucking blowby from the PCV valve and possibly gunking up the throttle body, IAC valve, and intake tube. If the other side was connected through a PCV valve to the plenum after the throttle body and before the blower, then the current PCV valve guts were taken out so it has free flow inlet from the intake tube the crankcase ventilation would be working like normal.

Go to the junkyard, if you have a Pull-A-Part locally they're a good source. You should be able to find something that will fit in a different spot and look like a factory setup.

Damn good looking setup you've got!

As I'm selling my Supercoupe and CBR, I've decided that the proceeds from the sale of the bike will go towards this project.

Got any advice? How about that updated parts list? Idea of pricing?

Once you get that part list going, I'll start getting my parts looked for. Unfortunately, It probably wont be until at least May. My job will have me tied up training future officers of the US Air Force starting in January.

I love having my Campaign Hat, but damn is it demanding!
