View Full Version : Custom Trunk Liner and New Plates

I had heard mixed reviews on the Trunk covers taking a long time to get from CarMotorsports and I really didn’t want to play the waiting game so I had one of the local guys around here make me a trunk cover with a Gods Head and I love the way it turned out! I’m really glad I went this route and my stereo install is almost completely finished out minus a few odds and ends. Well here are some pics.

Oh yea and new plates, it is big, black and slow so I figured it fit well :)

No it was done by a guy that works on base with me, he does them in his spare time, mostly Mustangs but he was willing to try it so I jumped on it! It is all in wood and then covered in carpet

How did he stitch the head into the carpet?
The head is all individual pieces that he had cut out, then applied to the wood then carpeted...The Marauder took him much longer than what he is use to but he didn’t want to rush it at all and the quality is awesome.

I am sure he would consider doing a run of these but I don’t think he would send it uncarpeted. He is a perfectionist and if it wasn’t done to his standard I don’t think he would bite.

I appreciate it bro, I still have other plans but I needed to install something so that I could get some stereo side jobs so I can afford what I really want.

I am assuming you're referring to the trunk cover, here are a few of the screws, I went a little over board when securing as I didnt want any rattles from the stereo. There are a total of 8 screws that secure it the six that you see in the picture posted and two more in the left corner that mirrors the right. I will be putting some carpet over the screw heads after I finish the final dynamatting adventure.

Had I not gotten the CAR Motorsports trunk liner to match my hood liner, I'd be interested in one of these.
