either my blower has taken a dump of the pully ring is loose. there is a terrible knocking coming from the blower. i know it isnt the motor (which is great news) because i took the blower belt off, stated the car and the noise is gone. either way dont know if ill make OC :(

How does the blower feel when you turn it by hand? Smooth? Did it have oil in it already, and if not did you put oil in it?

ck the blower bypass make sure it is open at idle if not the blower is trying to make boost at idle and they make a lot of noise .

well i figured it out! turned out not to be the eaton, but the pully that drives it. the 3 bolts got loose some how and was letting the pully rattle around.it actually hammered one bolt untillt he head poped off:eek:. 3 new bolts with lock washers and thread locker and its good as new!

I have to take a look at my lower pulley. It came with some hardware but I dont think any lockwashers, for $45 I cant complain though. Good thing I work at an ace hardware, lots of cheap screws there and we got screws, you know the little things you put nuts on;)

It will make a nice ashtray if it dont. I test fitted it on the balancer seem to fit snug i didnt have time to see if the bolt holes lines up. Its an 03 cobra pulley shouldnt the other lfp cobra kits have the same bolt pattern?
