This ad is for a 1999 Ford F-150 SVT Lightning. This truck is my pride and joy. I don’t really want to sell it, but with my wife expecting our first child, it’s just not practical to keep since it was customized into a 2 seater with center console. I have been trolling around to see if I can find either an LX Sport or an MM to use as a family wagon for a low price.
I have put some time and effort into getting this truck the way you see it now. It is equipped with minor modifications, but is still very reliable. I would not hesitate to drive this truck anywhere. I tried to keep the truck as stock looking as possible, but it still has some customization to set it apart from one off the showroom floor. The truck currently has 118,356 on the odometer, but the previous owner had a new engine installed prior to my purchase. The new Ford engine was installed by a Ford dealer at 98,142 miles and I have all the paperwork. The new engine only has about 20,214 miles on it. The previous owner believes the intercooler was changed when the new engine was installed, but he was unable to verify this. The truck has no problems with the intercooler leaking. The truck runs well and does not leak anything.
The previous owner had the truck lowered and installed aftermarket control arms (unknown brand). The truck has DEPO brand headlights and corner lamps, which are in great shape with no cracks. The front of the truck has custom pin striping and black painted billet grilles. The grilles are starting to chip, and could use a touch up/sanding, but can certainly be used as is. The engine has an aftermarket air filter, Accufab 90mm single blade throttle body, and #4 pulley installed. When I purchased the truck, I had the front brake pads replaced and the supercharger and serpentine belt replaced. TR6 NGK spark plugs, new Expedition fuel filter, intercooler pump, and coolant flush were completed by Woodbine Motorsports, the leader in Lightning modification. A custom tune loaded onto the Diablo sport Predator was also installed by Woodbine Motorsports.
The truck also has black powder coated staggered wheels with 18” in the front and 20” on the rear to give the truck a “raked” look. The tires still have plenty of tread left for the new owner, Toyos in the front and I purchased Nittos for the rear when I got the truck. The bed of the truck was not taken care of by the previous owner and had plenty of scratches. I had used a roll in bedliner and cleaned up the bed. I installed a newer LED 3rd brake light off of a later model Lightning. The truck also has a Lund wiper cow cover installed.
The interior is basically stock except the dual gauge a-pillar pod, which houses the Autometer boost and A/F gauge, and the Expedition console. The stock Ford radio is in place, and there is a 6 disc CD Changer in the back. The changer was bypassed and an aftermarket Ipod connection was installed, so the new owner can hook up their ipod and play their music and still control it through the stock radio. The truck is also equipped with an Avital alarm with remote start.
I will include any stock parts I have with the sale of the truck. I am asking $11,500 obo. Please feel free to email me with any questions or if you would like to see more pics of the truck. DO NOT waste my time with emails saying that you’re out of town and your secretary is going to give me a check. If you have any questions, email me WITH a phone number to discuss. All other emails will just be ignored. Due to insurance purposes, test drives are prohibited, but I can take the potential owner out as long as I am driving.
