The Marauder went a new personal best Last nite at Union Grove (Wacky Wednesday $20.00 6-10).
I got there before 7 PM , maybe 25-35 cars, 50* and damp .
Got three passes in before they called rain out.
They said keep your receipt for credit on another T&T outing.
Running 17 psi on 295/35/18 BFG Drag radial, no drivers headlight, and no full spare tire.
first pass 13.125@102.38 on a .250 Rt, 1.89 60' Yeah I sucked bad
I was half way through the second staging lights, when the tree starts falling and blew it.
The Second run a 5 min hot lap, red light, -.002 so I am still getting the hang of a two Foot launch.
But 1.80 to 60' and best ET. ever 12.974 @102.72
For the third and final pass of the evening, I pulled through 13.7 on terrible spin off the line.
When I saw the tree flashing and back up lights, I turned for the pits.
A bunch of guys came over and asked to see under the hood
and asked me all kinds of questions.
One guy was a local FLM tech running a WRX, who also ran a 12.9
