Does anyone have an actual dyno sheet they can post here showing the difference before and after removing the second set of cats on a stock or XCal'd MM with a CAI with the removal being the only difference between runs?
Seat of the pants experience is showing me a distinct loss of bottom end and low mid range torque, power and acceleration.

It has been stated by some experts in the exhaust "bidness" that removing the cats will gain you nothing more than NOISE!!
I doubt you lost any power but it may feel like it since it sounds stronger??
Check with Dennis.....he may have some data!!

I'd remove all the factory cats and install 2 high flow ones.

Lar, My times at the track showed no difference at all.
However the sound is much more to my liking, and it only cost $30.00.

It does have some SOTP feeling if you already have high flow mufflers and more open exhaust than just all stock stuff. I felt the mid range difference.
More or less it's for sound but Vortech347's 4.6rwhp 7.9rwtq gain is rear wheel gain with some tweaking.
It's a cheap sound mod with just a tad of power increasing.

But that was peak HP. Notice midrange. It picked up quite a bit.
The sound difference is awesome. It sounds perfect.
