Awesome Burt! We went witht he AVIC for the MAch but ROcknthehawk has been talking about getting the Kenwood instead.
I have a Sirius radio hook up for a kenwood head unit. It is active and as far as i know has an unlimited subscription to sirius. I dont use it anymore since it came with my MM. It always wroked when i had it in the MM, but if you want it let me know.
You would just need to buy an antenna for it. i have the cable to plug into the rear of your kenwood head unit.

Is there a part # ? How much are you asking for it ? It seem the more devices or stations you have one still can't find good music all the time.
Thanks Burt

Thats a real good looking unit, very nice. I got a couple questions...
1. Do you loose the wheel radio controls?
2. Does it fit right in where the stock radio was?
3. Is it an electrical nightmare to install?
I would like one of these, but I would want to keep my stock speaker,
subwoofer setup. Thanks for your time :)

I had a wheel control installed at the same time the shop Mobile Electronic studio 508-760-4564 installed the kenwood DNX6140 unit. Great prices.ask for Bill. I could never go without the wheel controlls. The unit fits as if it were factory. As for the speakers you could use your oem speakers. I upgraded mine to Pioneer from Pops stereo. The sound system is now night & day dif.

I have been looking for a replacement for the stock stereo unit that would have GPS and the Kenwood sounds perfect. I had looked at that unit but both Best Buy and Crutchfield indicated it would not fit. I am glad to hear from someone that has it installed and it looks factory.
Thanks for posting the info. I will check it out.

Have a Sirius module for Kenwood ( I'l check the P/N) that I'll let go for 3 or 4 used CDs. PM me if you are interested. If I can remove the antenna I'll toss it in gratis.

This is slightly odd, I can't find the Sirius unit. It's in the garage and I'll look further tomorrow. As memory serves it's a SR901 http://www.audioallies.com/GetItem.asp?Item=KTC-SR901 and won't work with anything newer than 2002 units. Check the specs, I'll keep looking.

My garage has gathered so much stuff I too am finding things hard to find. I think I need the sirus CAsr20V = Sirus sc ci. I will have to double check. Don't kill your self trying to find it no rush.
