Charlie:

You may want to try the '06 Escape Audiophile (6L8T-18C815-FD) in dash 6-CD radio in your MM. It really improves the volume and pushes the sub-woofer much harder. Bass is really good. I just got mine yesterday and I am very impressed.

I read about that with great interest. Being a fan of "trying to keep it OEM" this is a great idea. My only problem is, I use my cell phone / music player heavily. And to do this, I use a tape player adaptor to get the music into the radio. Honestly, the escape radio and the basslink might make a great combination!

Is there a fix for plugging a 3.5mm plug into our audio systems

if you look in the tread about putting the escape radio in the mm some one mentions a harness to do what you want.

Crutchfield has an iPod kit for our radio for around $110.

I bought my BassLink online...cheaper than anyone could match plus free shipping.
