Yeah, it really is. I think I have heard it was originally founded by quakers, which is where the "friend" comes from.

Is Rowlett Texas by Dallas? I have alot of race friends in Dallas, Kevin Hargett, Travis Franklin, Grant McCrary, the list goes on....lol

Did I see in another post that you were a technician? Where do you work?
I am near FHS, but it really doesn't matter - Friendswood is pretty small. John E is near here just across the border in Pearland.
If you do work on the side, I might have a job for you. My 89 LX convertible is having a clutch problem. It runs 2 7s in the quarter!

It really is. It was founded by Quakers, who called each other "Friend". That's where the name came from. It is a pretty friendly place, and a nice place to live.

Yes, I am a Ford Tech at Ron Carter Ford, but I also do own work on the side, which consists of basic Ford repairs all the way to chassis/engine/wiring work on 6-7 second 1/4 mile race cars. I guess I pretty much do it all....LOL
