i plan to hit the track on wed. now i have a smaller (26in) set of bfg 255 drag radials but do you think thank these would be a better choice over my 28 inch 255 street tires? i really dont think either stands a chance, just trying to see if its worth me swaping them out.

the 26" will not hook as well, as 255wide street radials, you'll gain nothing with the smaller tire other than frustration

pretty much what i thought. i figured they would both equaly suck so ill just rock my street tires. looks like its time for an impalaslayer garage sale!

28" tall is the way to go with 4.10s.
(my opinion)

wait, I didn't read right they are drag radials? if they are really drag radial compound then they will hook better than your 255 street tires, just give em some heat

I take back my first statement... I'd try em, they aren't that wide, but street tires are total poopoo where there is some hope with a DR

If the drag radials are shorter then I'ld try it BUT!!!! Do you have a tune for them because the shift points will be affected, also have you dragged with the taller tires? if so how much of 3rd gear is left when you trap? The short tire will trap at higher RPM that may be out of your power band.

You're gonna be bouncing off the rev limiter without a tune for the smaller diameter tires.
